Mammal Hands | Flagey

Since 2012, Mammal Hands have built an international following with their fusion of jazz, electronica, minimalism, and global influences. On Circadia, brothers Jordan (sax) and Nick Smart (piano), joined by new drummer Rob Turner, explore themes of cycles and renewal through vivid rhythms and resonant emotion. Blending post-rock energy, folk sensitivity, and almost electronic-sounding beats, the trio crafts a meditative yet rhythmic sound, like acoustic trance. Live, their near-telepathic interplay is mesmerizing.
